Social Marketing Solutions is expanding in Harrisburg, and we're looking for energetic, people-focused individuals to join us as In-Store Marketing and Sales Assistant. In this entry-level role, you will guide clients through mobile device selection, explain wireless service options, manage account activations, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure that customers have reliable and uninterrupted mobile service.

As the In-Store Marketing and Sales Assistant, you'll be the friendly face helping customers choose the right mobile devices, understand wireless plan options, activate accounts, and solve basic connectivity issues. Our focus is on making sure that every customer leaves confident, supported, and connected. This In-store Marketing and Sales Assistant role is ideal for individuals who enjoy interaction, thrive in fast-paced environments, and want to grow from entry-level within a supportive team culture.

In-Store Marketing and Sales Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Introduce AT&T wireless products and services through structured outreach and retail event engagement strategies.
  • Evaluate service requests by identifying usage goals, connectivity needs, and budget alignment to recommend tailored AT&T solutions.
  • Complete customer enrollments by handling documentation, confirming service eligibility, and coordinating activations through AT&T systems.
  • Maintain campaign accuracy by tracking service interactions, account status, and provisioning milestones to support store performance and campaign visibility.
  • Work with the In-Store Marketing and Sales Assistant team and management to ensure all onboarding steps, service setup, and entry-level sales goals meet AT&T's retail standards.
  • Analyze store metrics and share sales insights to refine engagement strategy, reduce service delays, and support retention goals.

In-Store Marketing and Sales Assistant Qualities Needed:

  • High school diploma or GED required; entry-level coursework in business, communications, or marketing supports retail fluency and service coordination.
  • Entry-level experience in retail sales, structured outreach, or customer onboarding preferred but not required.
  • Clear communicator who can confidently explain plans, service options, and enrollment steps.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, able to manage multiple customer interactions accurately and efficiently.
  • CRM proficient—maintains clean, actionable data to support sales tracking, store metrics, and campaign visibility within entry-level In-Store Marketing and Sales Assistant parameters.
  • Growth-focused contributor—collaborates across retail teams and seeks continuous development within AT&T's retail operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $3, $4,850.00 per month
