POSITION SUMMARY:
The Operations Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Operations Manager in overseeing daily workflow, adjusting processes as needed, and providing regular reports on work items processed. This role acts as a primary resource for the Operations Team, offering guidance and support while coaching team members to achieve high performance standards. The Operations Supervisor will also assist in identifying training opportunities and ensuring efficient operations across various vendors.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Core Competencies):
Workflow Monitoring and Adjustment:
Assist the Operations Manager in monitoring daily workflow, quickly responding to shifting priorities, and making necessary adjustments to maintain efficiency (Intermediate).

Team Communication and Support:
Communicate regularly with team members to ensure maximum productivity and address any questions or concerns. Act as a first point of contact for the team, providing guidance as needed (Advanced). Reporting issues with team members to Operations Manager if necessary.

Reporting and Analysis:
Track daily processing metrics and compile weekly reports detailing the number of items processed. Identify trends and make recommendations for process improvements (Intermediate) to Operations Manager.

Feedback and Corrective Action:
Provide timely feedback to relevant parties when corrective or preventative actions are needed. Partner with the Operations Manager to implement solutions (Advanced).

Training and Coaching:
Identify training needs and opportunities for team members. Collaborate with the Operations Manager to provide insights and suggest strategies for skill development and process improvements (Intermediate).

Transparency in Reporting:
Maintain full transparency of workflow, reporting, and performance metrics with relevant stakeholders (Intermediate).

Other Duties:
Perform additional tasks as delegated by Operations Manager, supporting the goals of the Operations Department (Beginner).

Requirements
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Leadership and Team Management Skills:
Demonstrated ability to set high expectations for performance and hold the team accountable (Advanced).

Communication and Organizational Skills:
Superior written and verbal communication skills, with strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks (Advanced).

Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking:
Ability to use critical thinking skills to analyze situations and recommend solutions (Advanced).

Detail-Oriented and Multi-Tasking Ability:
High attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple priorities under time constraints (Advanced).

Process Improvement Orientation:
Passion for operations and a commitment to process excellence, with a proactive approach to identifying improvement opportunities (Intermediate).

Vendor Coordination:
Experience managing vendor relationships, ensuring service quality and efficient operations (Intermediate).

Stress Management Skills:
Ability to perform well under stressful situations and adapt to changing priorities (Intermediate).

CREDENTIALS & EXPERIENCE:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.

Experience:
3+ years of experience in operations processing, with demonstrated skills in managing workflow and process improvement (Required).

Prior Management Or Supervisory Experience Is Preferred.
Technical Skills:
Advanced Skills In Microsoft Excel Are Preferred.
Experience in benefits administration is a plus.
