Duties

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to identify and secure new business opportunities within assigned territories
  • Conduct proactive cold calling and outreach to potential clients to generate leads and expand market reach
  • Manage a designated territory by building strong relationships with existing customers and exploring new prospects through targeted marketing efforts
  • Present product demonstrations and technical solutions to prospective clients, clearly articulating value propositions
  • Meet established goals for territory development and sales quotas
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing terms to close sales while ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty
  • Utilize CRM software such as Hubspot to track sales activities, manage customer data, and analyze territory performance
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction, identify upselling opportunities, and facilitate account management
  • Collaborate with internal teams on marketing strategies, product launches, and customer feedback to enhance sales effectiveness
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market intelligence for continuous improvement
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to increase brand visibility

Experience

  • Proven experience in outside sales or business development within a B2B environment, preferably in apparel industry sales
  • Demonstrated success in managing territory sales and generating new leads through cold calling and direct outreach
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively while maintaining positive customer relationships
  • Familiarity with CRM software such as Hubspot or similar platforms for managing accounts and tracking sales pipelines
  • Excellent communication skills for delivering compelling product demos and engaging presentations
  • Ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities for growth, and develop strategic plans accordingly
  • Experience in account management with a focus on upselling and expanding existing client relationships
  • Knowledge of marketing principles as they relate to lead generation and territory expansion is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
