Are you warm, friendly, and energized by helping people? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where every customer interaction is different? We're looking for a Showroom Support & Sales Associate who will serve as the first point of contact for clients visiting our long-established lighting showroom.

This role is perfect for someone who loves hospitality, multitasking, and creating exceptional customer experiences. You'll help "run a store within a store"—greeting customers, directing them to the right team member, helping with quick purchases, and keeping our showroom beautifully merchandised and well-stocked.

What You'll Do

Front-of-House Hospitality & Customer Triage

  • Welcome every guest immediately with warmth and professionalism
  • Assess client needs — from quick tasks (light bulbs, pickups, lamp repairs, parts forms) to more in-depth lighting design help
  • Direct customers appropriately and ensure a smooth handoff to designers or sales staff
  • Create a pleasant, organized, and attentive experience for multiple clients at once

Customer Service & Sales Support

  • Assist with simple purchases and answer product questions
  • Manage special order pickups and basic POS transactions
  • Provide clear, friendly communication in person, by phone, and via email
  • Support sales staff by preparing customers, locating products, and ensuring a seamless showroom flow

Showroom Merchandising & Restocking

  • Restock shelves, lighting accessories, and specialty products
  • Help maintain beautifully styled displays and a clean, polished showroom
  • Assist with merchandising projects and "mini shop" upkeep within the showroom including pricing, tagging and cleaning

  • Detail-oriented with a sense of organization and visual merchandising
  • Comfortable learning new products and assisting with quick sales
  • Team-oriented, reliable, and proactive

Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, or reception is a plus—but we're happy to train the right person.

Basic computer and POS familiarity is helpful.
