About the Opportunity
Backed by world class investors, they are a fast-growing fintech company providing credit and payment solutions to small and medium-sized businesses. Their products help entrepreneurs access working capital, manage spend, and grow responsibly.
They are looking for an experienced
Credit Manager
to build and oversee their underwriting operations. This person will establish credit policies, evaluate applicants, and ensure a disciplined approach to portfolio growth.
What You'll Do
- Lead a team reviewing applications across credit and card products.
- Set and maintain credit policies, approval thresholds, and risk segmentation.
- Analyze financial statements, banking data, and alternative data sources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve automation and scoring models.
- Support commercial teams with fast, well-informed credit decisions.
- Monitor portfolio performance and adjust strategies to balance risk and growth.
What They're Looking For
- 10+ years in credit risk, underwriting, or lending — ideally with SMB or card-based products.
- Experience in fintech, lending, or payments.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in evaluating cash flow and financial health.
- Familiarity with modern underwriting tools and workflows.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
