To be a successful Assistant Campus Director you must become able to do the following always:

  • Ensure all youth and staff are provided with the knowledge, skills and tools they need to be successful using a trauma informed approach focused on resilience and recovery.
  • Ensure a safe environment where youth can self-manage their behaviors without the need for emergency safety interventions.
  • Ensure compliance for agency accreditation and program regulations.
  • Model success focused supervision and ensure this is occurring on a regular basis for all Residential staff.
  • Follow Company Policy and Procedure and operate according to the Employee Handbook and Department guides.
  • Achieve positive discharge outcomes.

How you will spend your time in this job:

  • 50% Program Administration

  • 30% Supervision and Staff Development

  • 15% Participation in supervision, committees, company-wide and staff meetings

  • 5% On Call

To qualify for this job, you need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in social sciences or related field required.
  • Five years successful work experience with children or adolescents.
  • Three years of successful supervisor and/or management experience.
  • The ability to write, use a computer and type on a keyboard.
  • Ability to travel, driving a company or personal vehicle including at night
  • Physical requirements: Ability walk, including up stairs, and stand for extended periods of time. Ability to complete emergency safety interventions as trained. Ability to be subject to outside environmental conditions occasionally and inside conditions frequently.
