The Opportunity:

We have an immediate opening for a skilled Fireplace Service Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is critical to our commitment to customer satisfaction, serving as the key point of contact for homeowners, superintendents, and consultants. You will be the expert on the front lines, diagnosing complex issues, performing precise startups, and ensuring every fireplace we install operates flawlessly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform expert diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of gas and electric fireplaces, addressing ignition systems, gas pressures, venting, and other components to manufacturer specifications.
• Conduct fireplace startups and lead informative, professional homeowner orientations.
• Serve as the company's field representative, negotiating solutions and resolving conflicts with a high degree of professionalism.
• Utilize your deep product knowledge to recommend and sell after-market service parts, products, and accessories.
• Proactively identify potential issues in the field and implement solutions to prevent future problems.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with both internal teams and external clients.
• Uphold all company safety standards and procedures without exception.

Who You Are (Qualifications & Skills):

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction, HVAC, or a related technical service industry.
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and gas-fired systems.
• An exceptional problem-solver with independent judgment and the confidence to make decisions on behalf of the company.
• Extremely detail-oriented, methodical, and highly organized with impeccable follow-up skills.
• A professional and articulate communicator, with excellent oral and written communication skills for interacting with a diverse clientele.
• A true team player who can also excel independently in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
• Proficient with standard computer software and diagnostic tools.
• Possesses a strong work ethic, sound judgment, and common sense.
