Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team, supporting both industrial and commercial electrical projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in electrical systems, construction sites, and blueprint reading. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects that require precision, technical expertise, and adherence to safety standards. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of low and high voltage systems, NEC regulations, and be proficient with various hand and power tools.

Duties

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in industrial and commercial settings
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate wiring and system setup
  • Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, and power tools for installation tasks
  • Measure electrical parameters with instruments like ammeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to troubleshoot issues
  • Work with low voltage and high voltage systems in compliance with NEC standards
  • Perform wiring of circuits, panels, and control systems on construction sites or existing facilities
  • Ensure all work meets safety regulations and quality standards
  • Collaborate with construction teams including frame carpentry when necessary for installations

Skills

  • Proven experience as an industrial or commercial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety practices
  • Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in electrical installations
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately
  • Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of construction safety protocols
  • Familiarity with low voltage wiring as well as high voltage systems
  • Ability to use testing instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters for diagnostics
  • Knowledge of NEC regulations for electrical installations
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently
  • Experience working with schematics and technical documentation for complex systems

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $ $30.75 per hour
