Job Summary

A locally established design-build firm is seeking a full-time senior project manager with a minimum of 10 years' experience in design or construction, preferably familiar with commercial government construction projects.

Duties

  • Lead project teams through the entire project management lifecycle, ensuring successful project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Review design build drawings for coordination.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and budget requirements.
  • Implement quality management processes to ensure deliverables meet the required standards.
  • Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to communicate progress, address concerns, and negotiate project changes as necessary.
  • Manage risks effectively through proactive identification and mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee budgeting and cost control measures to ensure projects are delivered within financial constraints.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
  • Utilize project management software tools such as Microsoft Project.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management
  • Proven experience in senior project management roles with a strong understanding of project management.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and conflict resolution.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120, $185,000.00 per year
