Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a keen interest in the food industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and assisting with menu selections.

We have a guarantee of $20/hour. Full-time servers typically average around $25-$30/hour.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately using Toast POS.
  • Provide detailed information about menu items to enhance guest experience.
  • Upsell food and beverage items to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service flow.
  • Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.

Requirements

  • Previous restaurant experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Toast POS systems is advantageous.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
  • Knowledge of food handling procedures and sanitation practices in the food industry.
