Job Summary

ENGINEER – CORPORATE OFFICE (CHARLETON, WV)

We are currently recruiting in our Corporate Office, Charleston, WV, for an Engineer.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supports and improves existing ESRI solutions.
  • Works with GIS Team to develop new mobile solutions for data collection using ESRI mobile applications (Field Maps, Survey123, etc.).
  • Configures ESRI field data collection apps on mobile devices for newly developed processes and new hires.
  • Trains field personnel on newly developed mobile solutions for data collection.
  • Creates SQL queries representing asset or compliance data for operations and upper management.
  • Performs quality assurance review on asset and compliance data.
  • Fulfills outside requests for asset or compliance data (KMZ, Shapefile, FGDB).
  • Prepares and update ESRI tutorial documentation.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline.

Preferences:

  • Minimum of 3 years of related work experience.
  • Natural gas industry experience preferred.
  • Experience with the following: ESRI desktop products (ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, ArcReader), ESRI Portal products (ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online), and ESRI Mobile products (Field Maps, Workforce, Survey123)
  • Experience with Python scripts, Arcade, and/or SQL queries.
  • GIS data modeling and Geodatabase design.
  • GIS data management, workflow development and documentation.

Position is subject to applicable DOT regulations including Anti-Drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Plan.
