Who we are looking for:

State Street Alpha Implementation team is looking for a Business Integration Lead to interact with the Client and our internal Operations Teams from Service Definition to Go Live. We're looking for professionals with experience across front and middle office operating models, business analysis, data management and project management disciplines. The role will be client facing, including interaction with program team and the wider STT teams including senior management.

The role is key to our Business Integration Practice and will span the lifecycle of an implementation which may be from 6 months to multiyear. There will be client engagement and leadership of a virtual team across internal workstream leads, and business units to facilitate the pillars of Business Integration (Third Party Reach out, Business Readiness, DITL to Hypercare) for a successful go live.

What you will be responsible for:

As MD – Business Integration Team Lead, you will lead a team of Business Integration resources who lead the following activities with Alpha programs

  • Create and monitor the Business Integration plan, overseeing all pillars, reviewing MI and providing updates to the program, senior management and clients where relevant
  • Plan, scope and manage Business Integration led events (DITL, Production Parallel and Hypercare) to conclusion. This includes agreeing entry, success and exit criteria, governance model, runbooks, MI and shaping the team to support
  • Work with the Business leads to update changes to the Service Level Agreements and Future State Operating and support Models throughout the implementation period
  • Oversight and tracking of progress of 3rd party outreach, training and system access. Acting as escalation and resolution for blockers with the client and third parties
  • Prepare our operations teams for Business Integration events with regular meetings with the workstreams and the related senior management
  • Leverage influence across business areas and project team members to drive toward a common goal of onboarding the client
  • Ensure practice is aligned to programme activities and governance. Leverage the ASIS standards and feedback on changes/improvements
  • Review risks and issues within the Business Integration framework, communicate effectively within the program, drive solutions and options
  • If applicable, manage staff ensuring the process for objective setting and PPR is followed. Manage the workload balance for the team
  • As the leader of this team you will also be required to actively monitor the work of each team member against each specific program plan, act as an escalation point for all BIM related issues. You will hire, train, coach and mentor team members to build a high performing team. You will also work as part of the regional executive delivery function in region to make sure that all Alpha programs are managed effectively, new programs are planned and resources are properly allocated as programs ramp up and ramp down.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant Financial Industry Experience required, preferably Investment Management / Asset Management
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and investment management processes, including back-office functions
  • Exposure to Charles River or any other front office systems is preferred
  • Experience in implementation of large client onboardings with complex architecture, multiple teams and functionalities.
  • Intermediate to advanced with Microsoft Office tools, familiarity with Jira and confluence is required

Salary Range:

$170,000 - $252,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
