We're seeking an experienced
Maintenance Technician
to join a leading manufacturing operation in
St. Louis, MO
. This is a
direct-hire, full-time position
supporting overnight production operations. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with
blow molding, injection molding, or extrusion equipment
and is ready to ensure maximum uptime and reliability across the plant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform
    preventative maintenance
    and repairs on production equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Inspect and troubleshoot
    machinery to identify issues and minimize downtime.
  • Conduct
    mold changes
    , PM work on molds, and perform machining, milling, and light fabrication as needed.
  • Collaborate with production to plan and execute
    preventative maintenance schedules
    that improve line efficiency.
  • Maintain
    accurate records
    of maintenance and repair activities.
  • Recommend and implement
    process or equipment improvements
    to boost performance and reduce costs.
  • Uphold housekeeping standards and ensure all tools and workspaces are properly organized and maintained.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of maintenance experience
    within a
    manufacturing or plastics environment
    (extrusion, injection, or blow molding experience required).
  • Strong knowledge of
    mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
    .
  • Skilled in
    diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs
    on industrial equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret
    blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
    .
  • Familiarity with
    CMMS systems
    preferred.
  • Willingness to work
    12-hour overnight shifts (7PM–7AM)
    and occasional weekends as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and communication skills.
