Location: El Cajon Health Center – El Cajon, California
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Shift Type: AM Shift (Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm; flexibility required)
Hours per Week: 40 hrs/week
Candidate Pay Rate: $51.47 – $58.75/hr
About the Role
We're hiring a compassionate and organized RN Supervisor to lead clinical operations within a fast-paced outpatient behavioral health setting. Located in El Cajon, CA, this role offers the opportunity to manage nursing staff, support care coordination, and ensure high-quality services for a diverse patient population. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise nursing staff and oversee daily clinical operations
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols
- Support behavioral health providers with patient care coordination
- Monitor patient flow, appointment scheduling, and documentation accuracy
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide mentorship to nursing team
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives and policy development
- Respond to urgent clinical needs and support crisis intervention protocols
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold HIPAA standards
Qualifications
- Active California RN license
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience with supervisory or unit oversight
- Experience in behavioral health or outpatient settings preferred
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or healthcare-related field preferred
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with behavioral health protocols and outpatient workflows
- Proficient in EMR systems and clinical documentation
