We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Bilingual Caregiver to provide high-quality care and support to individuals in need, including the elderly, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a nurturing attitude, and the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish. 
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients and their families in both English and [Second Language], ensuring understanding of care plans and needs.
- Help clients with mobility and physical activities, including exercises and walking assistance.
- Monitor and record clients' health status, reporting any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Assist with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and grocery shopping as needed.
- Respect clients' privacy and dignity while providing care.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to continually improve caregiving skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.
 
Qualifications:
 
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in caregiving or healthcare preferred.
- Proven experience as a caregiver, personal support worker, or similar role.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and [Second Language] is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting and assisting clients.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.
 
Working Conditions:
 
- The caregiver may work in clients' homes, assisted living facilities, or healthcare settings.
- Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, may be required based on client needs.
