Quality Assurance Analyst Responsibilities:
The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for ensuring software quality and identifying business and technical risks through collaborative functional testing with internal groups. This role involves planning and executing test scenarios, evidence gathering, presenting findings, assist in forecasting the next steps and scaling the efforts for expansion.This includes but is not limited to; defining quality requirements and processes and preparing/maintaining necessary documentation, monitoring quality performance to identify opportunities for improvement, analyzing results, and supporting performance testing efforts review and maintenance of quality files, procedures, Run Books, and SOPs.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for functional testing for projects, daily rework, and evidence coordination.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to plan testing strategies.
  • Develop and execute test scripts that validate project requirements with a high level of accuracy.
  • Planning/developing/building out: the QA team 5-year plan.
  • Drive efficiency through automation and application development.
  • Monitor application performance and verify that outputs meet business expectations.
  • Track progress, report status updates, and communicate key performance metrics on weekly, monthly, Quarterly and annually.
  • Identify and document defects using standard tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Work with the Incident response team on postmortems and event investigations.
  • Coordinate with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to address testing issues.
  • Analyze data to troubleshoot performance and production-related problems.
  • Review configuration files, logs, and code to identify sources of issues.
  • Maintain organized documentation of performance test executions and related artifacts.
  • Ensure testing tools and environments are properly configured to meet project needs.
  • Assist in the migration of content from legacy file management system to Navex IRM.
  • Participate in meetings to validate failover/cutover/recovery/performance testing.
  • Establish and manage test cases required for performance testing efforts.
  • Escalate priority issues and ensure defects are addressed according to established processes.
  • Provide clear and timely communication of testing activities, results, and issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality assurance or performance testing.
  • Experience with system resource measurement and relational databases (e.g., IBM Rational).
  • Proficiency in SQL and related query tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Familiarity with SAP, Navex IRM, ServiceNow, SolarWinds Orion, Bugzilla, MS Office suite, Visio, MS Teams and SharePoint.
  • Hands-on experience with industry/QA testing tools.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Pay Range : $85,000 USD - $100,000 USD
