What You'll Do:

As a DSP, you'll be a cheerleader and mentor to individuals with disabilities, helping them live fulfilling and independent lives. You'll provide support in a variety of settings—in the community, or at our Auburn Hills Branch. No two days are the same, and that's what makes it exciting

Your role includes:

  • Supporting individuals with daily living skills.
  • Helping with volunteer opportunities to build independence.
  • Encouraging community involvement through social outings and fun activities.
  • Assisting with transportation.
  • Advocating for dignity, respect, and choice for every individual you support.
  • Documenting daily progress and maintaining accurate records.
  • Ensuring a safe, happy, and supportive environment.

What We're Looking For:

  • Passion for helping others—no prior experience is required; we'll train you.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build meaningful relationships.
  • Patience, positivity, and problem-solving skills—every day is different.
  • Reliable transportation (valid driver's license, registration and insurance).
  • Ability to assist with personal care tasks.
  • Must pass a background check before hire.
