Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.
• Handle food preparation tasks including slicing, dicing, and assembling ingredients with excellent knife skills.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
• Manage multiple orders efficiently during busy hours to ensure timely delivery of hot, fresh pizzas.
• Assist with menu planning by suggesting new pizza varieties or toppings based on customer preferences and current trends.
• Maintain proper food handling procedures during all stages of meal preparation and serving.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and excellent customer service.
• Support catering events or special orders as needed, demonstrating flexibility and culinary versatility.
• Uphold high standards of food industry practices, including proper storage, inventory management, and waste reduction.

Qualifications

• Must have prior experience working as a pizza cook or in a similar fast-paced kitchen environment with a focus on pizza preparation.
• Demonstrated proficiency in food handling, cooking techniques, and meal preparation within the food industry.
• Strong knife skills with the ability to prepare ingredients efficiently and safely.
• Experience in dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus, highlighting attention to dietary restrictions and special requests.
• Knowledge of menu planning, food safety protocols, and sanitation standards is essential.
• Previous restaurant experience with fine dining or casual dining settings will be highly regarded.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well under pressure in a team environment.
