Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve beverages with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every drink using systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS mainly Toast
  • Take food and drink orders accurately, communicate effectively with kitchen staff, and deliver orders promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests warmly, addressing their needs, and creating a lively yet professional atmosphere.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas, adhering to food safety standards and food handling protocols.
  • Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering duties, processing payments efficiently, and balancing registers at shift end.
  • Assist with catering events, banquets, or nightclub functions as needed, demonstrating versatility across various service settings.
  • Uphold food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies to ensure a safe environment for all guests.

Requirements

  • Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred; fine dining or banquet experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order entry and sales processing.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently during busy hours.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math for sales transactions, and accurate order calculations.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
  • Experience working in nightclubs or catering environments is advantageous; retail math skills are also beneficial.
