About the Role

Virtus Capital is seeking a motivated, early-career professional to join our growing
Wealth Management and Retirement Plan Advisory
practice in Alexandria, Virginia. This is a
hybrid sales and client administration role
that offers hands-on experience working directly with the firm's Managing Executive to build, scale, and serve both private wealth and qualified plan clients.

Responsibilities

  • Support business development and relationship management across wealth management and 401(k)/retirement plan advisory clients
  • Assist in preparing client proposals, investment reviews, and plan benchmarking reports
  • Participate in client meetings, onboarding, and follow-up support
  • Manage client communications and service inquiries in coordination with custodians and recordkeepers
  • Help organize marketing efforts, client communications, and plan education materials
  • Contribute to strategic growth initiatives alongside the principal and advisor team

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years
    of experience in
    wealth management
    ,
    financial planning
    , or
    qualified retirement plans
    (401(k), 403(b), or related)
  • Bachelor's degree
    in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort managing multiple priorities
  • Motivated self-starter who enjoys working both independently and collaboratively
  • FINRA licenses
    (SIE,
    Series 6, 7, 65, and/or 66
    ) are a plus, but not required
