Picture your day: you begin with meticulous receiving inspections, move on to in-process checks alongside production, and close the loop with rigorous final inspections and AS9102 First Article verifications—always aligned to customer requirements and internal standards.What you'll doOwn end-to-end inspections: receiving, in-process, and final—anchored to aerospace specs, quality codes, and company procedures.Execute AS9102 First Article Inspections and other complex dimensional audits with accuracy and clarity.Use precision metrology tools such as calipers, micrometers, bore gages, optical comparators, thickness gages, profilometers, and Mylar templates.Perform hardness and electrical conductivity testing; calibrate and upkeep inspection instruments.Create, refine, and review inspection plans for new and existing parts.Interpret blueprints and schematics with a strong command of GD&T.Document results thoroughly and maintain comprehensive inspection records.Champion continuous improvement and collaborate closely with Engineering, Purchasing, Production, and Receiving.What you'll bringHigh School Diploma.5+ years in AS9100 quality control within an aerospace manufacturing environment.Proficiency with mechanical/electronic inspection tools and devices.Deep understanding of GD&T; adept at blueprint/schematic interpretation.Hands-on experience with Mylar templates, optical comparators, thickness gages, and profilometers.Impeccable attention to detail; able to work independently and within a team.Basic computer literacy for documentation and data entry.ITAR compliance required.Why join an employee-owned leader?Every inspection you complete protects our reputation and our customers.
