IT Inventory Analyst

Location: Dallas, TX

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexibility may be required)

Pay Rate: $22 – $25 per hour

Position Summary

Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking an IT Inventory Analyst I in Dallas, TX. This entry-level role is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to build a career in IT operations and asset lifecycle management. The analyst will support global IT asset tracking and compliance efforts, working closely with the IT Asset Manager and support teams to maintain accurate records, assist with audits and reporting, and ensure compliance with policies and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records of all hardware and software assets throughout the asset lifecycle.
  • Assist with tagging, deployment, and recovery of IT assets.
  • Coordinate hardware reconciliation and disposal processes.
  • Ensure CMDB data integrity, license harvesting, and compliance accuracy.
  • Prepare and validate hardware inventory data for internal audits.
  • Support hardware lifecycle management and software entitlement compliance audits.
  • Generate reports, monitor license reclamation, and maintain inventory records.
  • Collaborate with support teams to track asset movement and create reports on asset status and usage.
  • Provide recommendations for improving inventory management and reporting processes.
  • Assist with hardware purchases and receipt tracking.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • 0–2 years of experience in IT Asset Management or Warehouse Inventory Management preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Experience with Office 365, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Knowledge of Windows 10/11, Android OS, and iOS.
  • Exposure to IT Asset Management platforms (ServiceNow preferred but not required).
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Certifications such as CHAMP, CSAM, or CITAD are a plus.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
