Rye Country Day School is seeking an Associate Head Varsity Baseball Coach beginning February 23, 2026. Rye Country Day School is a coeducational, Prek-12, college preparatory school located in Westchester County, New York dedicated to providing students with an excellent education using both traditional and innovative approaches. Specific responsibilities of the position include:
- Effectively planning and organizing both practices and competition calendars
- Teaching and training a team of beginners through advanced level baseball athletes.
- Creating an inclusive, exciting, and challenging environment each day
- Collaborating with the assistant coaches in planning and communication
- Maintaining a safe environment at all times
- Communicating with athletes, parents, coaches, and opponents in a professional manner
- Attend Spring Break Trips
Desired qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-years successful high school baseball coaching.
- A passion for athletic competition and the ability to motivate and inspire athletes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to building a diverse, equitable and inclusive school community
- Energetic and enthusiastic, flexible and patient
