Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Press brake operator that can also operate our CNC fiber laser to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating press brake machines and possess a variety of machining skills. This role is crucial for ensuring the precise fabrication of metal components, contributing to the overall quality and efficiency of our production processes.

Duties

  • Operate CNC press brake machines to bend and shape metal sheets according to specifications.
  • Operate CNC press laser
  • Load and unload material
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine the correct machining processes.
  • Perform quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure adherence to specifications.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot any operational issues.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize production workflows and enhance efficiency.
  • Utilize hand tools and fabrication techniques for assembly tasks as required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Skills

  • Proficient in operating CNC press brake machines and understanding their programming.
  • Familiarity with CNC laser cutting, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, plasma cutting, and electrical discharge machining.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
  • Competence in basic math for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks.
  • Experience with quality inspection processes and tooling techniques.
  • Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication practices is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with hand tools, cranes, and other equipment used in the manufacturing environment.
