Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Solar Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of solar energy projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, construction knowledge, and proficiency with industry-specific software. This role involves coordinating multiple teams, managing project schedules, and ensuring projects adhere to safety, quality, and budget standards. The Solar Project Manager will play a critical role in driving project success from inception to closeout, supporting sustainable energy initiatives.

Duties

  • Lead and manage all phases of solar project development, including planning, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction management software.
  • Coordinate with engineers, contractors, vendors, and clients to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize construction estimating tools such as HeavyBid to develop accurate cost projections.
  • Oversee construction site activities ensuring safety protocols are followed and work quality meets standards.
  • Manage project documentation using ProCore or Bluebeam for efficient communication and record keeping.
  • Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as needed to stay on schedule and within budget.
  • Facilitate communication across teams to ensure alignment on project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Prepare reports on project status, risks, and opportunities for stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in construction management or project management within the renewable energy or solar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction site operations, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and contracts management.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, and other construction management tools.
  • Familiarity with project scheduling techniques and construction estimating processes.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Relevant experience in civil engineering or related fields is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100, $160,000.00 per year
