Objective of Role:LaSalle Debt Investors ("LDI") is seeking a highly-motivated applicant to join our Loan Origination's, Underwriting and Asset Management Team in itsDenver, Coloradooffice. Our primary focus is on originating bridge loans for value-add and transitional properties in sustainable growth markets throughout the United States.An Analyst position offers an opportunity to excel in a fast paced, collegial environment while gaining an understanding of commercial real estate finance and the skills necessary for a long-term career in real estate investment. Our goal is to help our Analysts advance by providing them with significant responsibility and diverse experiences.The successful candidate will join a team responsible for the financial underwriting, assisting in loan closings, and asset management of commercial real estate bridge loans ranging from $5 million to over $50 million.Accountabilities:Investment due diligence and market researchCreation and delivery of investment committee presentationsFinancial reporting and the creation of reports for senior management, partners, investors, and rating agencies (including S&P and Moody's)Asset management and loan payoffsPerform complex financial analyses, including Excel-based underwriting pro-formas, cash flow projections and sensitivity analysesPerform detailed quarterly financial statement analysis, review of rent rolls, current and future cash flow and forecasting of cash flows through ArgusReview and analyze potential leases and their financial impact on an investmentProvide analytical support to colleagues in the areas of fund operationsGather and evaluate economic and market dataAssist with client reporting and presentation preparation, including the presentation of investment memoranda to the firm's Investment CommitteeQualificationsBA/BS degree in real estate, finance, accounting, or economics or related field with strong record of academic achievementPrior internship experience or minimal full-time relevant experience preferred.Ability to work with individuals at all levels within the firm and leading real estate owners throughout the countryAbility to attend investment committee presentations and travel to client meetings, conferences and property tours throughout the United StatesProficiency in the Office suite, particularly ExcelExceptional analytical and communication skills, leadership traits, diligence, and the willingness and capability to function efficiently under significant deadline pressure are essential.Strong financial and analytical ability with solid organizational skills and ability to multi-taskAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProactive thinking with detail-oriented and creative problem-solving approachEstimated compensation for this position:90,000.00 – 100,000.00 USD per yearThis range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ.
