Facilities Maintenance Worker II

**The City of Moses Lake is accepting applications for a Facilities Maintenance Worker II position in the Public Works Department. **
This position is responsible for participating in the maintenance of City buildings. The normal shift for this position is 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The work location for this position includes all City buildings.
Essential functions of this position include but are not limited to: Perform routine preventative maintenance to City facilities and equipment (HVAC, safety inspections, overhead doors, etc.); Repair, maintain, and install electrical equipment and components (receptacles, light switches, lighting fixtures, etc.); Performs maintenance, replacement, and repairs on general plumbing fixtures, including sinks, toilets, urinals, down spouts, and oil/water separators; Perform advanced carpentry repairs (build walls, flooring, finish carpentry, etc.); Diagnose and repair HVAC equipment; Perform general facility maintenance to include repairing and moving furniture, painting, etc.; Performs custodial duties as needed (cleaning bathrooms, windows, facility exteriors, etc.); Keep proper maintenance logs.
