Purpose:

The Lead Marketing Specialist is an individual contributor role, reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer. This position will work closely with leadership to facilitate and lead strategic marketing, marketing communications, event planning, development of a lead generation program while helping develop internal team communication and recognition initiatives for an innovative hydrogen electrolyzer start-up.

Essential Responsibilities:

Lead strategic marketing - help the business prioritize focus (where we spend our time) and facilitate the development of go-to-market strategies in markets such as Core Green Hydrogen, Power to X, SAF, Ammonia, data centers, warehouses, and other applicable industries.

  • Direct experience with Total Available Market (TAM) and Served Available Segment (SAS) leading to a defined action plan required.

Lead marketing communications by:

  • Developing and maintaining a best-in-class online presence (website, LinkedIn, and social media)
  • Creating a plan to control the external narrative through interviews, white papers, articles, presentations, and brand awareness initiatives
  • Building relationships with key communication agencies to partner on implementation
  • Publishing press releases as needed

Lead event planning and implementation and own the events calendar

  • The goal is to maximize ROI. This would include visibility with key stakeholders (customer, partners, investors, influencers), and a robust event plan (meetings, presentations, booth presence, leads, etc.).
  • Develop and implement an intelligent leads program to build targeted pipelines, learning from past efforts.

Own the overall marketing budget and ROI funnel across marketing activities.

  • Implement quarterly reporting linking marketing effort and leads entering the pipeline.
  • Facilitate improvement of effective communication skills (verbal and written) within the EVOLOH internal team via training.
  • Parter with Human Resources and other stakeholders to develop and implement an employee recognition program to foster team development, retention, and an excellent work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or other in a related field (required); Advance degree (preferred)
  • Work Experience: 5+ years of relevant marketing experience. Start-up experience preferred, but relevant experience in a publicly traded company will be considered.
  • Skills & Abilities: Fluency in English language (written and verbal); Excellent communication skills across multiple formats and audiences; Ability to work effectively across global teams, time zones, and with diverse stakeholders; High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and marketing software platforms; Strong project management and organizational skills; Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors, agencies, and customers; Strategic thinking with data-driven decision-making abilities; Experience with digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and marketing analytics.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Attend in-person meetings and collaborate with team members as needed Handle office materials and supplies as required in the course of daily work
  • Communicate effectively in meetings, via phone/video conference and face-to-face interactions.

Work Environment

This position operates primarily in a professional office setting with climate control. This role may also involve time in laboratory and warehouse areas where exposure to chemical odors and elevated noise levels may occur. Occasional travel to branch locations, industry conferences, or client meetings may be required.

Travel Requirements:

  • Up to 20% of domestic and international travel, including overnight, may be required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85, $130,000.00 per year
