Bilingual Dental Patient Care Coordinator

Overview:
The Patient Care Coordinator is essential to delivering exceptional care and support throughout each patient's journey in our dental practice. This role involves managing patient interactions, scheduling appointments, and providing vital administrative support. Ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills and a foundational knowledge of dental terminology to effectively facilitate patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Interaction: Act as the main point of contact for patients, answering questions and providing detailed information about our services.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Efficiently schedule, confirm, and optimize patient appointments, ensuring smooth workflow and resource management.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Insurance Support: Assist with insurance verification and processing to ensure smooth patient access to services.
- Provider Collaboration: Coordinate with dental providers to support treatment plans and manage follow-up care.
- Administrative Support: Manage office supplies, organize workspace, and uphold a clean and professional environment.
- Patient Education: Inform patients about procedures, treatments, and preventive care measures as needed.
Experience & Skills:
- Experience: Prior experience in medical or dental office administration is preferred.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with dental or medical terminology is essential for effective team communication.
- Skills: Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail, with proficiency in office software for managing records and communications.
- Interpersonal Abilities: Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate with team members. Bi-lingual preferred.
