Job Summary

Our studio guests expect knowledgeable and engaging staff, a great experience, and friendly service - can you deliver? Availability during weekdays and weekends is required.

Responsibilities and Duties

Maintains high customer service standards.

Answers telephones and records messages. Represents Color Me Mine in a

friendly and professional manner on the telephone.

Handles money and performs sales transactions. Operates the studio POS system

Is familiar with Color Me Mine products. Understands all product usage

techniques.

Assists the owner/operator or the studio manager with opening and closing

procedures.

Maintains the overall cleanliness of the studio.

Checks product stock and replenishes it as needed. Informs manager of low

inventory of product and supplies

Assists the manager with overall studio maintenance

Represents Color Me Mine in a friendly and professional manner.

Greets and provides service for all studio visitors and customers.

Explains studio pricing, introduces customers to Design Center, instructs customers

on the use of all studio materials and techniques

Enters customer information into the computer.

Keeps desk stocked, organized, and neat.

Promotes Color Me Mine events and parties.

Books and host birthday parties, field trips and special events

Identifies and keeps track of customer's pottery choices

Prepares customer's pottery for pick up

Qualifications and Skills

Previous retail and/or restaurant experience a plus.

  • Customer Service. Everyone is an Artist at Color Me Mine and the staff must be able to interact with customers to bring them confidence in their work.
  • Multi-tasking. Similar to a restaurant environment, you may be running a wait list while trying to turn tables with customers waiting to pickup their completed orders. A smile is the best tool for this job
  • Cash Handling. This job requires processing of payments for services and goods delivered. Basic math skills required
