Kryder Law Group is seeking a Paralegal to play a central role in strengthening our pre-litigation and intake teams. This is a team lead focused position for an experienced personal injury paralegal who can support case managers, intake, insurance and medical records teams, assist settlements, and provide cross-department support to litigation.

This role is ideal for someone who is a "go-to" person in a PI firm, the one others rely on for answers, guidance, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pre-Litigation Oversight
  • Oversee and support Pre-Litigation Case Managers, ensuring files are properly developed, organized, and progressing efficiently.
  • Review cases for liability, damages, treatment, insurance coverage, documentation completeness, and readiness for demand or litigation.
  • Identify issues early (coverage gaps, treatment concerns, lien exposure, missing records) and guide staff on resolution.
  • Serve as a quality-control checkpoint for pre-lit files.

Training & Case Analysis (Intake + Pre-Lit)

  • Train Intake Specialists on how to analyze PI cases, including:
  • Liability and fault assessment
  • Damages evaluation
  • Insurance coverage and collectability
  • Red flags and case viability
  • Act as a day-to-day resource for Intake and Pre-Lit teams to answer questions and provide coaching.
  • Help develop and maintain training materials, checklists, templates, and SOPs.

Insurance, Records, and Settlements Support

  • Support Insurance Specialists with coverage questions, policy interpretation, and documentation needs.
  • Assist Medical Records Specialists with issue resolution, prioritization, and ensuring records/bills are complete and usable.
  • Support the Settlement team with file clarification, lien-related questions, documentation review, and case handoff preparation.
  • Ensure smooth coordination across all pre-lit support functions.

Litigation Support (As Needed)

  • Assist the Litigation team with:
  • Service of process coordination
  • E-filing and basic filing tasks
  • Other paralegal support as needed
  • Ensure clean, organized transitions from Pre-Litigation to Litigation.

Qualifications

  • 5–7+ years experience as a Personal Injury Paralegal, with strong pre-litigation experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor, train, or lead other staff (formal or informal).
  • Strong understanding of: Pre-lit file development, Insurance coverage basics, Medical records and billing workflows
  • Demand preparation and lien considerations
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and confident handling questions from multiple departments.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
  • Proficient with case management systems and Microsoft 365.

Pay: $57, $67,000.00 per year
