Position Overview:

As an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Center Director for Applied ABC, you will be responsible for the overall management and operation at our Jersey City, NJ location. Our ABA centers provide services to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Your primary responsibility is to ensure the delivery of high-quality and evidence-based clinical services to clients or patients. You will supervise and support the clinical staff, develop and implement clinical policies and procedures, and collaborate with other departments to promote the organization's mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership:

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership for the clinical department, aligning it with the organization's mission and vision.

  • Develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure high standards of care.

  • Stay updated with the latest research, evidence-based practices, and industry trends to drive continuous improvement in clinical services.

2. Staff Management and Development:

  • Recruit, hire, and onboard clinical staff, ensuring the team has the necessary skills and expertise.

  • Provide supervision, mentorship, and ongoing professional development opportunities for clinicians.

  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support staff growth.

  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and professional excellence.

3. Clinical Program Development and Implementation:

  • Collaborate with the clinical team to develop and enhance therapeutic programs and treatment modalities.

  • Ensure the effective implementation of clinical programs, monitoring outcomes and making adjustments as needed.

  • Oversee the development and review of treatment plans, ensuring they are individualized and evidence-based.

  • Maintain compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and standards of practice.

4. Quality of Care and Improvement:

  • Establish and monitor quality assurance processes to ensure clinical services adhere to best practices and regulatory standards.

  • Analyze clinical data, outcomes, and patient satisfaction to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate interventions.

  • Participate in case conferences and treatment team meetings to review complex cases and provide clinical expertise.

5. Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., administration, marketing, etc.) to coordinate and integrate clinical services with organizational goals.

  • Liaise with external stakeholders, such as community partners, regulatory bodies, and funding agencies.

  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and caregivers to address concerns, provide information, and ensure a positive experience.

Qualifications:

  • ABA Experience

  • Clinical experience in a relevant field, including direct client care

  • Proven leadership experience

  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices, clinical protocols, and regulatory requirements.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with variety of individuals varying in departments/ knowledge on ABA

  • Spanish Speaking Preferred
