Duties

  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in commercial and industrial settings
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical installations
  • Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ammeters and ohmmeters to test circuits and components
  • Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards for safety and quality
  • Perform low voltage and high voltage electrical work safely on construction sites or industrial facilities
  • Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and installations for compliance purposes
  • Collaborate with construction teams, frame carpenters, and other trades to coordinate electrical work seamlessly

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial environments
  • Strong knowledge of NEC regulations, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment
  • Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety protocols
  • Ability to work with low voltage and high voltage systems confidently
  • Construction site experience with an understanding of framing carpentry is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in complex wiring projects
