Overview:

This position will report into the Head of Policy and Risk Reporting in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM). The ERM team is composed of Actuaries, CFA charter holders, and risk professionals and is tasked with, among other things:

Identifying and Assessing RisksDeveloping and testing the Company's Risk AppetiteDeveloping and maintenance of the Company's Risk Management FrameworkEstablishing risk tolerances, and limitsRisk monitoring; and internal and external risk reporting

Responsibilities of Position: 

Coordinate the setting of meeting agendas and the development of materials with the risk committee chairs, including drafting minutes for various risk committeesCreate presentations and reporting dashboards leveraging Talcott's Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) tool (Archer)Maintain the central repository for charters, policies, standards and procedures, and committee materials Maintain the Talcott's Archer infrastructure including risk and control taxonomies and process hierarchySupport the Model Risk and Operational Risk teams in standing up their modules in Talcott's Archer production environmentAssist in coordinating the aggregation of key risk metrics, key performance indicators and control indicatorsPartner with the Compliance and Audit functions to ensure collaborative risk and control inventories and assessments

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher3+ years of experience in a risk management, compliance, or audit roleWorking knowledge of enterprise risk and operational risk management frameworks, principles, and practicesProficiency with Archer and Microsoft Power BIExperience drafting reporting dashboards, under supervisionStrong project management and change management skillsStrong verbal, written communication, and organizational skillsStrong attention to detail and well organized; ability to prioritize, multi-task and work independently and well under aggressive deadlines while delivering superior outcomes

Compensation 

The annualized base pay range is mainly based on an evaluation of comparable positions in the external market. The actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range. The base pay is based on factors including but not limited to experience, competence, and demonstration of proficiencies essential for the role. The base pay is just one component of Talcott's total annual compensation for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, long-term incentives and recognition.

This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future visa sponsorship.
