Location: The Price & Program Associate position is located at our North American Headquarters in the AT&T (Batman) Building in downtown Nashville, TN. Job Purpose
This position supports the development of pricing insights through the collection and analysis of market and internal data. The role also contributes to the operation of rebate programs, promotional planning, and performance tracking across sales channels.
Additional responsibilities include responding to sales operations inquiries, managing data and transactions in SAP, coordinating with customers, and facilitating communication across internal departments as needed.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn about the tire industry and its business operations. This role offers hands-on experience in pricing strategy, program execution, and data-driven decision making.
Key Accountabilities
Price & Program
- Monitor competitor pricing across the market to identify trends, threats, and opportunities.
- Support pricing adjustments by understanding internal pricing structures, collaborating with stakeholders, and executing changes with accuracy and timeliness.
- Analyze competitor programs such as incentives, volume bonuses, and pricing promotions to assess their impact on customer behavior and market share.
- Conduct end-of-year evaluations of program effectiveness using data-driven analysis, and present recommendations for program modifications, renewals, or discontinuations.
- Maintain documentation of competitive intelligence findings, program performance metrics, and pricing actions for reporting and future reference.
Promotion
- Analyze internal sales data and market trends to recommend products, support rates, and promotion types that align with strategic goals.
- Monitor competitor promotions to identify market benchmarks and opportunities for differentiation.
- Collaborate with the pricing and program manager and other stakeholders to provide data-driven insights that inform promotional decisions and support alignment with broader sales initiatives.
Level of Accountabilities
- Functions as an individual contributor with responsibility for executing assigned tasks and projects.
- Operates with limited supervision, demonstrating ownership of day-to-day responsibilities.
- Collaborates regularly with the manager, sales & marketing teams, supply chain, customers, and other cross-functional partners to support pricing, program, and promotional activities.
Core Competencies
- Proficiency in computer applications, with intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office – particularly Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with clear and effective communication in both written and verbal forms
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage tasks in a dynamic environment
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in data analysis, Statistics, Business Administration, or related area preferred
- 1 to 2 years of experience in tire pricing, dealer programs, or a related area preferred.
- Prior experience with SAP or similar enterprise systems preferred.
