Core Responsibilities

Financial Management: Oversee all financial activities, including general ledger, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and cash flow.

Reporting and Analysis: Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements, budgets, and performance reports to senior management.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage annual and quarterly budgets and forecasts to help meet company targets.

Accounting and Control: Ensure the accuracy of financial records, maintain internal controls, and manage month-end and year-end closing processes.

Compliance and Audits: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, coordinate external audits, and ensure timely tax filings.

Strategic Support: Provide financial analysis and strategic insights to support business decisions and drive profitability.

Manufacturing-Specific Duties: Analyze production costs and financial performance, and coordinate with production, purchasing, and logistics teams to ensure efficiency.

Skills and Qualifications

Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles, particularly in a manufacturing environment.

Proficiency with financial software, such as ERP systems.

Leadership and management skills to lead the accounting team.

Attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.

Excellent communication skills to report financial information to stakeholders.

Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is typically required. An MBA or other advanced degree is highly preferred.

Professional Certification: A CPA (Certified Public Accountant) designation is often preferred or required.

Experience: Several years of experience in finance and accounting are usually necessary, with senior roles requiring extensive leadership and industry experience.

Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Proficiency with accounting software, such as ERP systems.

Knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other financial regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 per year
