As a Home Inspector, you will play a crucial role in helping home buyers make informed decisions about their potential investment. Your expertise in construction inspection and quality control will ensure that clients have a comprehensive understanding of the condition of the property they are considering. We are the most technologically advanced inspection company around. We use 4K air drones to inspect roofs when needed (license required) and tank drones to go into tight crawlspaces. Our web page is self service for clients and agents. We also use the #1 report writing software/app in the industry. Our in house Client Success Center takes all the admin work off your plate by doing your scheduling, pre-inspection agent talks, door access, payments, getting agreements signed, marketing, marketing, broker meetings, and many other tasks.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential and or commercial properties to assess their condition and identify any potential issues or defects
- Inspect various systems and components of the home, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, roofing, structural elements, among others
- Use specialized tools and equipment to perform inspections and accurately document findings within 24 hours
- Prepare detailed inspection reports that clearly outline any observed deficiencies or concerns
- Communicate inspection findings to clients in a professional and informative manner
- Provide recommendation of contractor types for repairs or maintenance based on inspection results
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations to ensure compliance during inspections
Qualifications:
- You must be willing to achieve your (CPI) Certified Professional Inspector credential through InterNACHI or have passed the (NHIE) National Home Inspectors Exam.
- Must be able to stand, crawl in tight crawl spaces, walk, climb ladders, climb and walk on roofs, and lift 25 pounds
- Cell phone with data plan and willingness to learn how to operate a drone (if interested)
- Attention to detail and ability to identify potential issues or defects
- Clean background (federal and state)
- Effective communication skills to clearly convey inspection findings to clients
- Must not be scared of crawlspaces (tight spaces) or roofs (heights).
- Must have or be willing to carry General Liability insurance with a minimum of $1,000,000 in coverage (costs around $32 a month)

This job is excellent for employees who want to make the most of their time. You will get paid per job completed. This allows you to do 0-3 inspections per day. Depending on your availability and needs. This can be perfect as a part time to full time position. You do get to craft your own schedule. You are paid weekly with no hold back time frame.

If your state is licensed, you need to be licensed or within 30 days of being licensed in order to be considered for the position. If your state is an "unlicensed state", you must have completed a Home Inspectors training program from Internachi, American Society of Home Inspectors, or Inspection Certification Associates *preferred*, via online or in person. Proof of such will be requested if you are considered for the opening. Please review your state's licensing requirements at prior to applying for this opening. The candidate can be located within 50 miles of the listed city on this job requisition. Your home address will be the pin point in the middle of your territory.
