Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex for a Controller (open to part-time or hybrid work for the right candidate). The Controller will oversee financial reporting and related vendors, accounting operations, cash flow management, and compliance matters. The role includes managing financial processes, preparing budgets, analyzing financial data, and ensuring the accuracy and timely submission of financial statements. This position also involves liaising with external auditors, streamlining financial systems, and supporting strategic financial planning efforts.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in financial reporting, accounting principles, and regulatory compliance
  • Strong skills in budget preparation, cash flow management, and data analysis
  • Experience with financial systems, process improvement, and external audit coordination
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial documentation
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience advising senior leadership
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CFA certification is preferred
  • Experience in asset management or real estate investment-related industries is a plus
