We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. This role requires proficiency in various POS systems, including Aloha and Micros, as well as experience in fine dining, nightclubs, and catering settings. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Engage with customers, providing excellent service while taking drink orders and offering recommendations.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, utilizing basic math skills for cash handling and cashiering duties.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during banquets and special events.
  • Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs for restocking to management.
  • Adhere to all local laws regarding alcohol service and responsible serving practices.
  • Assist in training new staff on bartending techniques, POS operation, and customer service standards.

Experience

  • Previous bartending experience in a restaurant or nightclub setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is a plus.
  • Strong time management skills to effectively handle multiple orders during peak hours.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor towards guests.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
  • Experience in catering or banquet service is advantageous.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math applications within the bar environment.
