Lead Residential Service Electrician

AJ Long Electric, a trusted name in Northern Virginia since 1996, is expanding our residential service division and seeking a seasoned, professional Lead Service Electrician to join and lead our growing field team.

Your Role

• Lead and manage residential service calls with precision, professionalism, and care
• Troubleshoot and repair all types of residential electrical systems
• Write accurate, polished, and grammatically correct estimates and reports
• Communicate clearly with customers, office staff, and management
• Mentor and guide apprentices and junior electricians
• Maintain safety, code compliance, and company quality standards
• Keep your service vehicle organized and job-ready
• Partner directly with ownership to improve operations, systems, and customer satisfaction

What We're Looking For

• 15–20 years of residential electrical experience (Journeyman or Master preferred)
• Proven leadership skills — experience leading or training other electricians
• Strong troubleshooting ability and deep residential service knowledge
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Flat-rate pricing experience preferred
• Dependable and driven: You lead by example and take ownership
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $90K–$130K+ annually (dependent on experience
• Bonuses: Up to $5,000 sign-on bonus + commissions + annual performance bonuses
