Overview

Vertex Climbing Center is more than just a climbing gym – we're a community hub for movement, wellness, and adventure. Located in the heart of Santa Rosa, our facility offers top-tier climbing terrain, expert instruction, and diverse fitness programs that support a balanced, healthy lifestyle.

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Certified Yoga Instructor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of yoga practices and principles, along with the ability to inspire and motivate students of all levels- and who is excited to work in a vibrant, active community.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct yoga classes for individuals and groups, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all participants.
  • Design and implement effective yoga programs tailored to various skill levels and fitness goals.
  • Provide instruction on proper body mechanics, alignment, and techniques to enhance students' practice.
  • Incorporate knowledge of anatomy and physiology to address students' needs and limitations.
  • Foster a positive atmosphere that encourages personal growth, mindfulness, and self-discovery among participants.
  • Promote gyms events and programs to increase member engagement and participation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio space before, during, and after classes.

Qualifications

  • Certification as a Yoga Instructor from an accredited program is required.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, body mechanics, and program design related to fitness training.
  • Experience in group fitness instruction or personal training is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to teach effectively and motivate diverse groups of individuals.
  • Passion for promoting health and wellness through physical activity in a gym or health club setting.
