At this point in time, they are looking for an Electrical Team Leader in Kansas City. This strategic hire will be given the rare opportunity to immediately take on significant responsibility and play a key role in directing the regional growth of the office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead operations and performance for the electrical engineering discipline.
  • Plan and oversee electrical engineering projects to meet scope, schedule, and profitability goals.
  • Allocate tasks and balance team workload to support growth and revenue targets.
  • Facilitate and document internal and client meetings.
  • Partner with leadership on hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Support business development through RFP contributions, interviews, and industry involvement.
  • Develop electrical designs from concept through construction and perform quality reviews.
  • Coordinate activities among team members, vendors, and consultants.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience as an electrical engineer or designer.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.).
  • Proficiency with BIM tools, particularly Revit MEP.
  • Proven experience leading engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing power, lighting, and low-voltage building systems for complex projects.
  • LEED Accredited Professional status and familiarity with LEED or similar sustainability programs.
  • Interest in sustainable, high-performance building design.
  • Understanding of architectural design principles and effective collaboration with architects.
