As we continue expanding, we are hiring a dependable CDL-A driver to operate a company-owned Ram 3500 dually and 40FT gooseneck trailer.

Position: CDL-A Hotshot Company Driver

Pay: 28% of Gross Load Revenue

Employment Type: Full-Time (1099 Trial → Option to Convert to W2)

Schedule: 5–6 Days/Week

Home Time: Weekends (may vary based on freight)

Equipment You'll Operate

  • 2022 Ram 3500 Dually
  • 40FT Horizon Gooseneck Trailer (flatbed)
  • GPS/ELD provided
  • All securement gear included

Our equipment is maintained regularly and kept in clean, safe operating condition.

Driver Responsibilities

  • Safely operate company truck & trailer
  • Pick up and deliver freight on time
  • Complete pre-trip & post-trip inspections
  • Maintain accurate HOS/ELD logs
  • Properly secure loads using straps, chains, binders, tarps, etc.
  • Maintain communication with dispatch
  • Keep equipment clean and report maintenance issues
  • Comply with FMCSA safety regulations (Parts 382–399)
  • Submit BOLs, PODs, and load documents promptly

Requirements

To qualify for this position, you must have:

  • Valid CDL-A (Required)
  • Clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
  • Valid DOT medical card
  • Ability to pass a drug test
  • Flatbed or hotshot experience (preferred)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Reliability and professionalism

Work Schedule & Expectations

  • 5–6 days a week on the road
  • Home weekends (most weekends depending on routes)
  • Loads vary: partials, machinery, equipment, building materials
  • Must be comfortable securing freight outdoors in all weather

Pay Structure

  • 28% of gross load revenue
  • Paid weekly
  • Clean Inspection Bonus
  • Safety Bonus
  • Detention, layover, and TONU included in gross percentage

Example Weekly Potential: $1,500–$2,200+

(depending on freight rates, region, and availability)
