About the Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and dependable Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide school-based speech and language services as a subcontractor. The ideal candidate will bring clinical expertise, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset to help students achieve their communication goals in educational settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and reports per school/district guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with IDEA, state, and district regulations.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid Georgia SLP license issued by the Georgia Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
  • Certification through the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) preferred (or willingness to obtain).
  • School-based experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently within school systems.

Contract Details

  • Contract Type: Independent Contractor (1099)
  • Compensation: Competitive hourly or per-session rate (based on experience and assignment).
  • Schedule: Flexible; caseloads matched to availability.
  • Support Provided: Administrative assistance, documentation templates, and ongoing collaboration with clinical leads.
