HRIS Analyst/ Assistant – Sunroad Auto Shared Services, Inc.
Non-Exempt
Summary:
The HRIS Analyst will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Human Resources Information System (HRIS), ensuring data integrity, and providing support for various HR functions. This role will involve handling employee data management, generating reports, and supporting HR projects.
Essential Functions:
Employee File/Data Management
- Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS.
- Ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of employee data.
- Manage employee file archiving and retrieval processes.
Report Requests
- Generate and distribute HR reports as requested by management.
- Assist in the development of custom reports to meet organizational needs.
- Data Reporting (EEOC, 1095c, etc.):
- Compile and submit required data reports for compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., EEOC, 1095c).
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to relevant authorities.
HUB Maintenance
- Perform regular maintenance and updates to the HRIS HUB.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in collaboration with IT.
Dayforce Superuser
- Act as the primary point of contact for Dayforce HRIS system.
- Provide training and support to HR staff and other users.
- Assist in system upgrades and testing new features.
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Analyze HR data to identify trends and provide insights to HR leadership.
- Support HR projects with data analysis and reporting.
System Optimization
- Identify opportunities to improve HRIS processes and workflows.
- Collaborate with HR and IT teams to implement system enhancements.
Other
- Assist the HR team in their requests to provide data and reports.
- Maintain satisfactory attendance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This role has no direct reports but may provide guidance/training to less experienced HR staff
Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
- Ability to perform all essential functions of the job description.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in HRIS or HR-related roles.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., Dayforce).
- Experience integrating HRIS systems with other business systems (e.g., payroll, finance, benefits administration, or timekeeping systems).
- Certifications in specific HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, ADP Workforce Now).
- Excellent time management skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently stands, walks, sits; uses hands; frequently reaches with hands and arms; frequently talks and hears.
- Occasionally climbs or balances; occasionally stoops, kneels, crouches, squats or crawls; occasionally lifts up to 15 pounds.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Work Environment/Noise:
- Office setting, typically within the HR or payroll department.
- Climate controlled.
- Noise level is quiet to moderate.
