Performance Engineer Advisor

What You Can ExpectAs the Performance Engineer Advisor, you will ensure that systems, applications, and services meet the required performance standards and operate efficiently under various conditions. This role focuses on optimizing performance, reliability, scalability, and responsiveness to deliver our products at the most efficient level.Reporting to the Director of Energy Delivery, your primary duties encompass:Performance Testing and Analysis: Designing and conducting tests to identify performance bottlenecks within a central utility plantSystem Optimization: Analyzing resource usage and make recommendations to improve system performanceScalability Planning: Ensuring systems can handle increasing loads and designing solutions that scale effectivelyMonitoring and Metrics: Implementing performance monitoring tools and establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to track system availability and performanceCapacity Planning: Assessing infrastructure needs and ensuring sufficient resources are available to meet current and future demandsCollaboration: Working closely with maintenance, operations, and support teams to integrate performance metrics, plans and equipment upgradesAutomation: Building and maintaining procedures to improve the automation of data gathering, analyzing and reportingPresent findings, reporting's and analysis, to plant staff, management and directorsWhat You'll BringBachelor of Science degree or equivalent, or High School Diploma (required) plus ten (10) years of relevant experienceMinimum seven (7) years of experience supervising technical, maintenance and/or operations personnelMust have demonstrated technical ability in the operation and maintenance of systemsMust have in-depth knowledge of power generation, steam and chilled water equipment and technologyThorough knowledge of all plant systems and understanding of process diagrams, simple electrical diagrams and operating instructionsExtensive knowledge in PI systems and how to process/analyze the dataExtensive knowledge of steam production and chilled water facilitiesAbility to use analytical judgment to plan and perform diversified work, making decisions within prescribed limitationsProficiency in Microsoft Office tools, to maintain and build complex excel models.Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and take direction from others.Additional DetailsThis role requires attendance at a worksite on a daily basisMust be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policiesCompensationSalary Range: $136,680 – $160,000 USD annuallyThis represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws.
