The Administrative Engineer Supervisor supports the Engineering Department in ensuring the hotel consistently meets Guest Service, Brand, and Sustainability Standards. This role is responsible for conducting room inspections, identifying and coordinating repair needs, maintaining preventive maintenance programs, and managing vendor relationships including bids, quotes, and service contracts. The position also performs administrative functions and provides leadership coverage when senior engineering management is absent.

Specific Tasks:

  • Oversee small engineering projects and provide timely progress reports.
  • Manage and coordinate vendor bids, quotes, contracts, and invoices for engineering services.
  • Maintain the property operations log, daily P.O. ledger, and assist with inventory control and supply ordering.
  • Perform general office duties including filing, document management, and telephone support.
  • Coordinate daily assignments for Engineering staff in collaboration with Engineering leadership.
  • Support departmental performance goals, including improving guest satisfaction metrics.
  • Follow all RIU sustainability guidelines and initiatives.
  • Serve as acting supervisor in the absence of the Chief Engineer.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Chief Engineer or Director of Engineering.
  • Monitor and support the hotel's Preventive Maintenance Program, including planning, scheduling, and evaluating tasks.
  • Maintain accurate repair logs, preventive maintenance records, and ensure compliance with all service contracts.
  • Conduct inspections and ensure all work complies with applicable local, state, and federal codes.
  • Ensure house calls and guest-related incidents are resolved and closed in H-Mobile within required timeframes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36.00 per hour
