As a key member of our security operations, you will be responsible for safeguarding personnel, property, and assets across various locations. Duties

  • Monitor premises through CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity and ensure safety protocols are followed.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including entrances, exits, and secure areas, to deter theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access.
  • Verify the identity of visitors, contractors, and vendors by checking credentials and maintaining access logs.
  • Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies by applying first aid or CPR when necessary and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services.
  • Manage conflict situations with professionalism and tact, employing conflict management techniques to de-escalate tense scenarios.
  • Perform loss prevention activities by observing for theft or fraudulent behavior and reporting findings according to company procedures.
  • Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incident reports, CCTV footage logs, and access control documentation.
  • Support security protocols such as surveillance system checks, fence inspections, and emergency response drills to ensure operational readiness.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in security roles or law enforcement is highly desirable; military background is a plus.
  • Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain these certifications upon hire is expected.
  • Strong understanding of surveillance technology including CCTV systems; familiarity with loss prevention strategies is advantageous.
  • Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Knowledge of security procedures, law enforcement practices, and emergency response protocols.
  • Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods while maintaining alertness throughout shifts.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with team members, visitors, and emergency responders.
