Data Intelligence, LLC (DI) is seeking a Systems Engineer to support system architecture, requirements development, and domain-level integration for an advanced military aviation platform. This role emphasizes Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and multi-domain requirements traceability across complex avionics systems.

This position is contingent upon winning award.

Responsibilities:

Develop and manage system and subsystem requirementsPerform requirements decomposition, allocation, and traceabilityUtilize MBSE tools (Cameo / SysML) to define and analyze system architecturesSupport system design reviews and technical interchange meetingsEnsure alignment with DO-254 and DO-178 certification requirementsAuthor system documentation and verification planning artifacts

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics, and 5+ years of relevant experience

OR - 10+ years of direct experience in avionics systems, software, or hardware engineering Required Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in systems engineeringExperience with MBSE and requirements-driven developmentStrong technical writing and communications skillsSystem-Level understanding across multiple domains, including expertise in at least one of the following:
Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
Experience developing SysML models using cameoArchitecture definition, interfaces, and traceabilityRequirements Management
Development and management of system, subsystem, and interface requirementsTraceability across hardware, software, and integration domainsAvionics Systems Architecture
System-level understanding of avionics components and data flowsExperience supporting aircraft or mission systems preferredCertification & Compliance (DO-254 / DO-178)
Understanding of certification impacts on system design and verificationExperience coordinating requirements with compliance constraintsCross-Domain Integration
Collaboration across software, hardware, and integration teamsAbility to translate operational needs into technical architectures

Preferred Domain Expertise:

Experience in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable:
