We are currently seeking for Dimensional Q/C Inspectors that want to grow with S+S and be a part of our Quality team

This position is located in Houston, TX East Downtown).

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in reading and interpreting drawings and dimensionally inspecting parts
  • Knowledge of common gauges and measurement instruments
  • Knowledge of blueprint reading, geometric dimensioning, and tolerancing
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and maintain effectiveness in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be punctual and reliable
  • Bilingual (Spanish , English)

Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):

  • Read and interpret part drawings
  • Dimensionally inspect parts against drawings using inspection equipment such as calipers, height gauges, radius gauges, and other inspection tools
  • Create inspection reports
  • Willingness to perform any other related duties assigned by immediate Supervisor
  • Willingness and ability to work weekends, as needed

Minimum 1 year of QC Inspecting experience

Shift: Days - Monday-Friday 5:00am-5:00pm, including weekends as needed

Nights - Monday-Friday 5:00pm-5:00am, including weekends as needed

Compensation: Depending on experience

Night shift premium - $2 additional per hour (5pm-5am)
